About these terms
These terms apply when you buy documents on builderdraft.com. By paying, you accept them. If you have a question, write to support@builderdraft.com.
Prices and payment
Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and are shown on every document and pack. The total on the payment page is the amount you pay.
Payment is taken by Stripe, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. We never see or keep your card details. Buyers outside the UAE may see the price converted to their own currency on the payment page.
Getting your files
Your files are digital. After payment you go straight to your downloads page, and we email you a link to it. The downloads page stays open for 30 days from purchase, and each download button works for 6 hours, renewed every time you open the page. Please save the files on your own computer.
What you may do with the files
When you pay, you get a licence to use the files for as long as you like, within your own organisation:
- copy and edit them, and add your logo and company details
- use them on as many of your own projects as you want
- send the completed documents to the other parties on those projects
You may not sell, share, publish or give away the files as templates, edited or not; upload them to a template library, marketplace or shared folder open to other organisations; or use them to make a competing template product. The files and their wording remain the property of BuilderDraft.
Not legal advice
The documents follow the FIDIC forms and the UAE practice in common use, with typical clause references and time limits. Your own contract governs your project, so check each document against it before you use it, and take professional advice where needed. BuilderDraft does not give legal advice.
FIDIC
FIDIC is a registered trademark of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers. BuilderDraft is independent of FIDIC. The documents refer to clause numbers and do not reproduce the FIDIC conditions of contract.
Refunds
If a file is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days and we refund it. The details are in the refund policy.
Our responsibility
We take care to keep the documents accurate and up to date. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect loss or for the way a document is used.
Changes
We may improve the documents and update these terms. The terms on this page on the day you buy apply to your order.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi deal with any dispute.
